A kanadai Michael Brook 1951-ben Torontóban született, gitáros, producer, zeneszerző és szinte mindennel foglalkozik, ami zene, és ezt szinte minden műfajban teszi. Az Albino Alligator volt a nagyszerű filmszínész Kevin Spacey első rendezése, egyben Michael Brook első filmzenéje is. Az egyik dalban Michael Stipe, a REM hangja énekel duettet a legendás jazz énekessel, Jimmy Scott-tal.
